CORI Surgical System
The CORI Surgical System is a portable, handheld robotics platform engineered to provide surgeons with advanced digital surgery applications for joint arthroplasty. By utilizing image-agnostic smart mapping, the system registers 3D models of the joint during surgery, facilitating real-time personalized planning. The design philosophy centers on small OR footprint and portability, while providing handheld precision milling and intra-operative gap balancing capabilities. It is intended to offer broad, expanding capabilities across multiple orthopedic indications. The platform supports various procedures, including total and partial knee arthroplasty, and is designed to achieve accuracy in bone resection and alignment. Additionally, it serves as an image-free solution for revision knee surgery, utilizing 3D joint models to map anatomy even after implant extraction. For total hip surgery, the system offers the RI.HIP NAVIGATION software, which is designed to assist surgeons in assessing pelvic tilt and providing digital measurements of leg length and offset changes. Through these integrated technologies, the CORI Surgical System is intended to help surgeons execute precise, personalized surgical plans.
